The company
County Tree Surgeons was founded in 1987 by Brian Farrow an experienced tree surgeon with ten years experience, with his wife Judy controlling the administration and finance function. He was joined shortly afterwards (around the time of the great ‘Storm of ’87) by his son Paul and in the mid-nineties by his other son, Lee.
The business has grown steadily since its inception and became County Tree Surgeons Limited in 2001. Brian remains the Managing Director, Judy Company Secretary, Paul Operations Manager and Lee, Maintenance Manager.
We now employ over twenty staff and whilst maintaining the family feel of the business we have continually progressed and developed. We are proud to be Arboricultural Association Approved, Safecontractor Approved Contractors, CHAS Approved Contractors and ISO 9001:2008 certified. We invest heavily in state of the art machinery and staff development and training, realising that our team is our strongest asset.
County Tree Surgeons Ltd offers a full spectrum of commercial and domestic tree care services. This encompasses plant healthcare, tree planting, pruning, stump grinding, site clearance and all other tree care services. We also offer specialist services including decompaction and aeration work and have invested heavily in the best plant available to carry out this work. We also offer specialist advice when required via an independent consultancy service.
Our customers include local authorities, landscaping companies, county councils and domestic customers all across the South East of England.
We hold £10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, £10,000,000 Employers Liability Insurance and £1,000,000 Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Along with general tree surgery work, we also provide a consultancy service in which we can undertake detailed tree assessments, which will highlight any potential hazards. We also undertake ground decompaction work and root excavation work.
We are highly experienced in dealing with tree preservation orders and trees within conservation areas.
